Swimming in Sea Butterflies

Swimming in Sea Butterflies includes photography, mixed media, and visual art collections funded through the National Academies of Science, Keck Futures Initiative, and the National Science Foundation. Pteam Pteropod (Samm Newton, Amy Maas, and David Murphy) has worked together since 2017. We also published a freely available bilingual children’s book about bioinspiration and ocean studies.
